Key Responsibilities:

Responsible in the implementation of inspection, testing, and diagnostics of substation primary power equipment for all voltage levels and provision of technical services to internal and external customers in compliance with NGCP maintenance test standards and quality and safety standards to ensure efficient and reliable operation of the power grid for the satisfaction of all stakeholders and customers.

• Electrical Testing, Diagnostics, and Inspection of Substation Primary Equipment: Assists the Principal Engineer in implementing scheduled inspections, testing, and diagnostics of substation primary power equipment, ensuring completion within the approved shutdown duration.
• Testing and commissioning of new Substation Projects and primary equipment replacement or upgrading: Assists the Principal Engineer in the inspection, testing, and commissioning of new primary power equipment.
• Maintenance and utilization of Test and Measuring Equipment (TME): Ensures safe operation and precision of all TME and tools through regular maintenance and calibration.
• Technical Assistance and Service Provision for Transmission Lines and High-Voltage Equipment: Provides technical support to internal and external stakeholders by conducting high-potential, impedance, and diagnostic testing on transmission lines and high-voltage equipment, while assisting the Principal Engineer with field service implementation and test report preparation.

Requirements:

• CollegeLevel / Technical or Vocational School Degree
• Registered Master Electrician or equivalent TESDA NC II Certificate (Electrical Installation and Maintenance or equivalent)
• At least one (1) year of relevant experience
• Mustbe knowledgeable in basic electrical/electronic circuit troubleshooting
