A Snapshot of Your Day
You start your day at a major industrial construction site, where you coordinate daily activities alongside a diverse project team. As the key onsite representative, you work closely with customers, authorities, contractors, partners, and consultants to ensure successful project execution. You collaborate with project management and back-office teams to keep activities aligned with project goals, schedules, budgets, and quality standards. Every day brings new challenges, requiring strong leadership, clear communication, and a commitment to safety and operational excellence.How You'll Make an Impact
- Take overall responsibility for onsite execution activities within the Siemens Energy scope of work, ensuring delivery against quality, schedule, and financial targets.
- Lead and promote a strong Zero Harm Culture by ensuring compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations and procedures across the site.
- Represent project management onsite and serve as the primary contact for customers, authorities, contractors, partners, and consultants.
- Manage deviations, risks, claims, corrective actions, and escalation topics that may impact project scope, budget, quality, or schedule.
- Monitor project progress through cost reviews, schedule assessments, reporting activities, and the closure of technical project changes before key milestones.
What You Bring
- Extensive experience in the construction of complex industrial projects, including EPC and/or consortium projects.
- Minimum of 5 years of onsite leadership experience in a major construction environment as an Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Site Lead.
- Strong understanding of construction and commissioning processes, methodologies, and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations, policies, and procedures for complex construction projects.
- Higher education degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related discipline; Project Management certification is a plus.
- Proven experience leading multinational teams in dynamic environments, supported by excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Willingness to work on construction sites both within and outside Germany.
