Schneider Digital is the digital department of Schneider Electric, leading the digital transformation in the company by giving support globally to our internal teams and our clients. Schneider Digital consists of 6 Digital Hubs worldwide which are strategically located to ensure a 24/7 support across the company (France, China, India, USA, Mexico and Spain). Our Digital Hub in Barcelona is formed by +450 employees working in strategic projects and different roles such as Data, Cybersecurity, ERP, Cloud, Infrastructures, IT Project Management or Digital Marketing.
The Lead, Digital Customer Experience Communication & Governance Specialist is responsible for driving the communication, engagement, and governance agenda across the Digital Customer Experience (DCX) organisation. The role ensures that strategic priorities, business outcomes, portfolio progress, and leadership messages are translated into clear, compelling, and actionable communications that strengthen alignment, collaboration, and execution across DCX. The role is directly responsible for creating, producing, and delivering content/assets that increase awareness, transparency, and recognition of both people and business achievements.
What will you do?
Key Responsibilities
Communication Strategy & Leadership Engagement
- Design, execute, and continuously evolve the DCX communication and engagement strategy aligned with business priorities and transformation objectives.
- Build and maintain an integrated communication roadmap for DCX leaders, stakeholders, and teams.
- Produce and drive consistent messaging across DCX, DCR, CXCT, and Schneider Digital organisations.
- Deliver content/assets that Support leadership visibility through executive communications, presentations, campaigns, thought leadership content, and strategic storytelling.
- Ensure communication assets, guidelines, and key messages are accessible, understood, and consistently applied across teams.
Executive Communications & Strategic Storytelling
- Transform complex business, portfolio, customer experience, and digital transformation topics into clear executive-level narratives, working in close collaboration with Digital Streamleads.
- Support Monthly Reviews, Quarterly Business Reviews, leadership meetings, and strategic business updates through impactful communication materials.
- Showcase business impact, outcomes, successes, and lessons learned through data-driven storytelling.
Governance, Portfolio Visibility & Business Reviews
- Support governance processes and communication readiness for Monthly Reviews, DCR Reviews, QBRs, H1/H2 Business Reviews, and leadership forums. Establish communication governance standards, templates, and best practices across the organisation.
- Improve transparency around roadmaps, priorities, milestones, risks, and achievements.
Employee Engagement & Organisational Visibility
- Manage and continuously improve DCX communication channels, including newsletters, Bi Monthly team meetings, internal communities, and leadership communications. Lead the planning and delivery of DCX bi-monthly team meetings and organisation-wide communication events.
- Increase visibility of DCX talent, products, platforms, and strategic outcomes through engaging communication campaigns.
- Promote Schneider Electric IMPACT values through storytelling and people-centred communications.
AI-Driven Communication Excellence
- Leverage Artificial Intelligence tools to improve communication effectiveness, efficiency, reporting, content creation, and governance activities.
- Identify opportunities to automate repetitive communication and reporting tasks.
- Promote AI adoption and best practices within the team and broader DCX community.
Business Acumen & Strategic Alignment
- Stay informed on Schneider Electric strategy, customer experience trends, digital transformation priorities, and industry developments.
- Translate business strategy into meaningful communication that creates understanding, alignment, and action.
- Ensure communications support organisational objectives and long-term business outcomes.
Success Measures
The role is successful when:
- A clear DCX communication strategy and narrative drive alignment across leadership teams and streams
- Executive communications, reviews, and business updates effectively connect strategy, KPIs, priorities, and outcomes
- DCX communications (meetings, newsletters, videos, and posts) achieve strong engagement, visibility, and participation
- AI-enabled tools and compelling storytelling enhance productivity while continuously elevating the visibility and impact of DCX achievements, people, and transformations
(External) English Qualifications: What qualifications will make you successful?
Profile & Experience
- 5+ years of experience in Communications, Marketing, Digital Transformation, or PMO/Governance roles
- Proven experience supporting senior leaders, executive communications, and stakeholder engagement in global, matrix organisations
- Strong business acumen with exposure to Digital, CX, Transformation, Portfolio Management, or Product-driven environments
- Hands-on experience creating high-impact communications and marketing assets using PowerPoint, photography, video production and editing, AI-enabled content creation, and digital marketing tools
Education
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Engineering or equivalent
- MBA or financial certifications considered a plus
Location and ways of working
- This role is based in Barcelona, Spain, a major Digital hub for Schneider Electric. The position is designed to operate in a global, virtual, and multi-country environment, working closely with international stakeholders across regions and time zones.
- Occasional travel may be required based on business needs.
