Are you passionate about developing high-tech mechanical systems that make a real impact? As a Mechanical Engineer, you will contribute to the development of advanced products within a multidisciplinary R&D environment. Working on topics such as precision mechanisms, media handling systems, drive systems, printheads, and ink fixation units, you will play a key role in translating requirements into innovative and reliable technical solutions. You will collaborate closely with stakeholders from Manufacturing, Service, Purchasing, and Quality Assurance to define specifications and ensure designs achieve the right balance between quality, functionality, cost, and time-to-market. From concept development and detailed engineering to prototype validation, you will be involved throughout the entire product development process. This position also offers excellent opportunities for professional growth into roles such as Lead Mechanical Engineer or Mechanical Designer.

What we expect from you

As our ideal Mechanical Engineer, you combine strong mechanical engineering fundamentals with a hands-on mindset and a passion for solving complex technical challenges. You bring: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical discipline. Experience with parametric CAD/CAE systems; knowledge of Siemens NX is considered a strong advantage. Understanding of precision engineering and mechanical design principles. Knowledge of manufacturing technologies such as machining, sheet metal, and plastic components. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with great attention to detail. The ability to translate requirements into practical and manufacturable designs. Experience working within multidisciplinary development teams. A proactive, hands-on, and goal-oriented attitude. Excellent communication skills and fluency in English. Dutch language skills are a plus. Eligibility to work in the Netherlands and to work on-site in the Venlo region.
