Your New Role
We are looking for an experienced Business Developer within Finance & Controlling for an exciting assignment at a leading international industrial organization.
You will join a Business Development & Strategy team and work at the intersection of finance, controlling, business development and strategic project management. The role offers broad exposure across the organization, with close collaboration with senior stakeholders and the opportunity to influence how financial governance, planning and decision-making are developed.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate strategic initiatives within finance and controlling.
- Develop financial governance, processes, roles and responsibilities across organizational units.
- Improve planning, forecasting, reporting and financial follow-up.
- Support prioritization of R&D investments together with business stakeholders.
- Analyze financial data to identify business drivers, opportunities and areas for improvement.
- Improve data quality, transparency and financial performance follow-up.
- Explore and implement digital and AI-enabled solutions within finance and controlling.
- Coordinate financial activities related to externally funded R&D projects when relevant.
- Collaborate with senior stakeholders across Finance, R&D, Business Development and other functions.

To succeed in this role, you will need:
- An academic degree in Finance, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering & Management, Engineering, Economics or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in project management combined with finance and/or controlling.
- Strong experience in finance, controlling or financial business development.
- Experience with Power BI or similar data visualization and analytics tools.
- Excellent communication skills in English. Skills in Swedish, German and/or Portuguese language is a big plus.
- Meritorious: Experience from R&D, engineering, automotive, manufacturing or another complex industrial environment.
- Meritorious: Experience with EU or nationally funded projects.
- Meritorious: Knowledge of financial reporting, funding regulations or audit processes.
