About the role:
As a FID Engineer intern, you will enter the nuclear industry. This sector is experiencing growth. An increasing number of countries continue investing in the operation of existing nuclear power plants and the construction of new facilities. This is a 25 hours per week paid internship. With a total duration of 6 months, starting in September.
You will report to the Manager of Facilities & Infrastructure Design and be located at our HQ in Madrid. This is a hybrid position. You are eligible to receive course credid.
Main Responsibilities:
- The primary goal of the internship is to help update engineering documents, drawings, associated data, files, and CAD models.
- Analyze applicable requirements, participate in implementation activities, and perform document management tasks.
- Ensure that designs comply with specifications, codes, regulations, design criteria, and applicable guidelines.
- Help develop detailed engineering designs, specifications, quantity take-offs, and technical reports.
- Collaborate with and learn from experienced professionals through mentoring and daily project involvement.
Qualifications:
- Master's students or final-year undergraduate students. Fields of study: Civil Engineering or Industrial Engineering.
- High level of English proficiency (C1 or equivalent).
- You should specify the engineering software (analysis, simulation, modeling, or CAD) you are experienced with.
