Sparinvest seeks a Senior Risk Officer

We are looking for an analytical and committed Senior Risk Officer for our Risk Management department.

Sparinvest S.A. is a Super Management Company in Luxembourg with a branch in Denmark. Sparinvest S.A. has Luxembourg and Danish UCITS and AIF under management.

Your role

As a Senior Risk Officer, you are responsible for identifying, monitoring and reporting risks within the regulatory set-up surrounding both UCITS and AIF structures as required by regulation.

Your main tasks

• Manage daily risk processes for Luxembourg and Danish investment funds, including regular reviews.
• Maintain and improve risk systems and models with Group entities.
• Improve tools and procedures for operational risk management.
• Oversee risk management tasks delegated to Group entities in Denmark.
• Engage with boards and senior management and prepare risk reports, including submissions to Finanstilsynet and the CSSF.
• Work with local and cross-border teams in a project-driven setting.
• Your day-to-day job location will be either Luxembourg or Copenhagen, with regular travel to the other location about every two months.

About you

• Experience in a similar role or operational function within a Management Company/AIFM or similar.
• Strong knowledge of asset management, including UCITS and AIF structures.
• Power BI and SQL skills are a strong asset.
• Fluent in English; Danish is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive and goal-driven mindset.
