About the role

As Strategic Commercial Product Manager, you will be responsible for driving the commercial success and future growth of AAK Personal Care’s cosmetic ingredients portfolio. You will combine technical expertise with commercial strategy to strengthen existing products, identify new business opportunities, and shape the innovation pipeline.

Working closely with R&D, Marketing, Sales, and other global stakeholders, you will translate market insights and customer needs into differentiated products and value propositions, while ensuring innovation projects progress successfully from concept to commercialization

Responsibilities

• Own and develop the commercial product portfolio, focusing on performance, profitability, and market competitiveness.
• Drive strategic business development through market analysis, customer insights, and competitive intelligence.
• Identify and develop new product opportunities and differentiated value propositions.
• Partner with R&D and cross-functional teams to build and commercialize the innovation pipeline.
• Lead and coordinate the Stage-Gate process, ensuring projects meet milestones and timelines.
• Strengthen existing products through sustainability initiatives, claims substantiation, communication, and price optimization.
• Manage and influence stakeholders across functions, cultures, and international marke

About you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Chemistry or Chemical Engineering; cosmetics specialization and business education are a plus.
• 5–10 years of international B2B experience, preferably within cosmetic ingredients or another specialty ingredients industry.
• Proven experience in product management, product development, innovation, formulation, and commercialization
• Strong commercial mindset with the ability to translate market trends and customer needs into business opportunities.
• Solid project management experience; Stage-Gate and innovation project experience are an advantage.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and collaboration skills in an international environment.
• Analytical, structured, proactive, and results-driven, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and turn strategy into execution.
