The Service Quality Deployment & Readiness department is a global function supporting Vestas' Service organization in driving quality excellence across regions and operations. The team partners closely with stakeholders throughout the Service business to identify quality improvement opportunities, analyze performance trends, and translate insights into sustainable solutions. By leading quality initiatives from assessment through implementation, the team plays a key role in enhancing operational performance, reliability, and customer satisfaction worldwide.
Responsibilities
- Act as the Quality lead and trusted advisor for the Service Repair & Operations organization, providing expert guidance on quality processes, standards, and best practices
- Assess and monitor the quality maturity of repair and refurbishment operations, identifying gaps, risks, and opportunities for improvement
- Develop, prioritize, and implement quality improvement roadmaps that support business objectives and operational excellence
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in close collaboration with Service Repair & Operations stakeholders, ensuring sustainable and measurable results
- Facilitate root cause analysis, corrective actions, and preventive measures to enhance product reliability, process efficiency, and overall quality performance
- Promote a culture of quality by collaborating with teams across the organization
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a quality, manufacturing, or continuous improvement role within an industrial environment
- Proven experience working in a production or manufacturing setting, with an understanding of operational processes and quality methodologies
- Solid knowledge of quality tools, problem-solving techniques, and continuous improvement practices
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both shop-floor teams and cross-functional stakeholders
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Danish is highly desirable
Competencies
- Six Sigma Green Belt certification is preferred, with practical experience applying Lean Six Sigma methodologies to drive process improvements
- Hands-on experience with PFMEA (Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis) and/or DFMEA (Design Failure Mode and Effects Analysis)
- Experience conducting or supporting ISO 9001 audits, with a solid understanding of quality management systems and compliance requirements
- Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (SPC) and Critical to Quality (CTQ) principles
- Analytical mindset with the ability to identify risks, prioritize improvement opportunities, and implement sustainable quality solutions

The primary work location for this position is Aarhus or Lem.
Up to 20 days of travel per year.
