Job Summary:

We are looking for a Responsible Senior IT Security – Global Infrastructure Security Engineer for maintaining and operating the datacenter, cloud and SaaS environments required for the delivery of global public DNS and certificate-related services (Public Certificates and Code Signing certificates). The role sits within a major enterprise’s global IT environment, covering service delivery, project work such as international DNS cleanup initiatives, and acting as subject matter expert for the services.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science and other relevant degrees.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and maintain public DNS infrastructure, certificate lifecycles, Code Signing infrastructure and URL redirection services.
• Implement and guide new and existing service-related requirements; take part in international DNS cleanup projects within the group.
• Test and develop new service functionality with key users; build and coordinate service-relevant test environments.
• Build ITSM processes to support and integrate service delivery; define and enforce service SLAs.
• Determine feasibility and strategy; define functional requirements, delivery time frames and cost calculations.
• Enable inter-connectivity towards relevant services as required by the business and manage service data to meet business needs.
• Maintain documentation and build technical reference documentation to inform and educate the team and customers.
• Act as SME for Global DNS and Certificate services: answer ad-hoc questions, inform stakeholders on service delivery and gather feedback for improvement.
• Ensure service delivery befitting a global business.

Technical Skills & Expertise:

• 7+ years of experience working as an IT Security Infrastructure Engineer.
• Solid understanding of public PKI, cryptographic concepts, keying mechanisms and adjacent technologies such as ADCS.
• Experience with bash, PowerShell and Python.
• Proven experience with OpenSSL and ACME toolkits, and network connectivity tools such as nslookup and dig.
• Strong affinity for ITSM tools and processes; well-versed in global IT operations and security.
• Support adjacent functions that intersect with the services, such as networking, load balancing, reverse proxy and web services.
• Strong proficiency in English is a must.
