To further strengthen our position among the leading companies in the automotive industry, MOBIS Parts Europe N.V. is expanding its R&D Center at its European headquarter in Frankfurt in order to meet local customer requirements even better. Your profile

• Completed studies in business administration, engineering, or a comparable field.
• Interest and previous experience in the automotive industry and procurement tasks (ideally at least 3 years of profesional experience)
• A positive, practical, and proactive approach to overcoming challenges.
• Competencies in procurement, production, and/or development are desirable.
• Experience in database management, reporting, and cost analysis is advantageous.
• Excellent oral and presentation/communication as well as negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a team and adapt in a multicultural environment.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Europe.
• Good knowledge of Englishis required. German and Korean is a plus.

Your tasks

• Development and implementation of strategic purchasing strategies.
• Define strategic priorities, sourcing directions, and measurable KPIs.

Support of Global OE Business:

• Coordinate cross-functional activities, work closely with HQ, regional offices, Sales, R&D, Quality, and other functions to align procurement strategies and business requirements.
• Reviewing customer requirements and specification analysis.
• Analysis of financial information from customers and suppliers.
• Drive cost competitiveness.
• Analyze cost structures and market benchmarks.
• Lead cost workshops and identify cost reduction opportunities.

Identification of Potential Suppliers:

• Lead new supplier development, sourcing activities and localization.
• Identify and evaluate competitive suppliers in Europe and North Africa.
• Expand the regional supplier pool and sourcing opportunities.
• Search for new technologies and benchmarking advanced companies.
• Investigation of competitors' supply chains.
• Finalizing confidentiality agreements and basic purchasing agreements with suppliers.
• Manage requests for quotation (RFQ) bid analysis, supplier evaluation, negotiation, and supplier selection in cooperation with relevant stakeholders.

Supplier Management:

• Evaluation of mass production suppliers and risk assessment including leading improvement activities.
• Lead supply chain ESG and sustainability initiatives by monitoring regulations, establishing governance processes, and ensuring supplier compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
• Manage strategic supplier relationships, Build long-term partnerships with key suppliers.

(EU) Survey for Business Activities and Strategic Planning:

• Investigation of changes and cost factors in the automotive economic environment by region.
• Building a regional cost database and conducting a survey on development trends in the European automotive industry.
