Role Purpose
The ASSP Academy Lead is responsible for defining and delivering the capability-building strategy for the Asset Strategy function. Partnering closely with ASSP Leadership and the People Function, this role translates business priorities into learning experiences, leadership development programs, and capability initiatives that strengthen organizational performance and build future-ready talent.

You bring experience designing and delivering capability-building initiatives, working with senior leaders, and translating business needs into practical development solutions. You are equally comfortable facilitating leadership workshops, shaping learning journeys, managing global programs, and influencing stakeholders across a complex organization.
Key Responsibilities
ASSP Functional Capability Strategy
- Develop and maintain the ASSP Functional Capability Strategy aligned with business and functional priorities.
- Establish the functional capability frameworks, learning journeys, and development pathways across ASSP roles and career stages.
- Partner with leaders to identify capability gaps and future workforce needs.
- Maintain Academy governance, operating model, annual capability planning process, and learning portfolio roadmap.
Academy Design and Delivery
- Design, manage, and continuously improve the ASSP Academy portfolio.
- Facilitate virtual and in-person workshops, functional leadership programs, and learning engagements.
- Build and manage flagship programs for procurement professionals, high-potential talent, and leaders.
- Measure learning effectiveness and business impact through data and insights.
- Manage learning vendors, budgets, and external capability partnerships.
Learning Culture and Knowledge Management
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Promote knowledge sharing, communities of practice, and best practice adoption across the function.
- Drive adoption of learning platforms, digital tools, and self-directed learning.

- Deep expertise in adult learning principles, capability-building methodologies, and modern learning technologies.
- Designs and delivers engaging, scalable, and impactful learning journeys aligned to business and capability needs.
- Skilled facilitator capable of delivering engaging and effective virtual and face-to-face learning experiences.

- Builds trusted relationships and partners effectively with senior leaders and key stakeholders
- Influences strategic decisions and secures commitment without direct authority.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Procurement, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Learning & Development, or a related field.
- Experience in capability development, learning and development, organizational development, procurement transformation, or a similar discipline.
- Proven experience designing and delivering learning programs in a complex global environment.
- Strong facilitation, stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills.
- Experience partnering with senior leaders on capability and talent priorities.
- Experience with digital learning platforms and technologies is an advantage.
- Knowledge of procurement, category management, supplier management, sustainability, or digital procurement is preferred.
- Relevant certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, APICS, or Learning & Development certifications are advantageous.
