VP People & Culture Greater Europe

Join DLF in this newly established senior international People & Culture leadership role. In DLF developing our people, culture and organization is absolutely key for the company to continue to realize our purpose of “Enriching land life and people through seeds and science”. The VP P&C Greater Europe is to be at the center of these efforts in our largest business unit and play a key role in our global P&C leadership team.

Your opportunities in this role

You will head up the People & Culture organization in Greater Europe which is one of our 5 Business Units with local P&C staff based in Denmark, UK, the Netherlands and France. With daily operation being in very good hands with local staff, your primary focus will be on business partnering with the GEU EVP and the executive leadership team owning the P&C agenda and annual wheel activities as well as ensuring that new and global initiatives are anchored and executed within Greater Europe. With DLF being a global organization many P&C initiatives are defined with a global scope and in close collaboration among P&C leaders and colleagues and then anchored locally. You will be directly involved in global collaboration both as member of the global P&C leadership team, but also as an experienced P&C professional whose competencies and experiences can add to our existing P&C community.

More specifically your tasks will include:

  • Business Partnering with the GEU EVP and GEU ELT
  • Functional leadership of the GEU P&C organization
  • Owning annual wheel activities such as Organizational Review, People Review and Succession planning
  • Owning P&C agenda defined driven by the GEU business plan
  • Ensuring implementation of global P&C initiatives in GEU
  • Active collaboration within the global P&C leadership team

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has solid and broad P&C experience (minimum 8 years) from close business partnering with a specific emphasis on disciplines such as organizational development, talent development and culture.
  • Has proven leadership experience, preferably in an international context
  • Can both lead P&C activities through others as well as personally drive activities hands on
  • Is analytical and structured as well as curious on professional trends
  • Has excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across all levels of an organization

Practical Information

  • The role is based at our global headquarters at Kongebakken in Smørum in the Greater Copenhagen area
  • International travel is expected. Extent will vary depending on activities and needs. Most likely between 15 and 25 days annually.
