Meaningful Work From Day One
This role is responsible for the full spectrum of logistics operations managed by Europe Supply Chain Hub, including the Ukraine market. This includes managing warehouse operations (raw materials, WIP, finished goods), optimizing transportation routes, overseeing the importation/distribution network, and ensuring compliance with customs regulations. You will be the key liaison between local logistics providers and the Global Supply Chain team.
This is an office/hybrid role (4 days a week at the office, Fridays working from home)
What You Can Expect
Warehousing
- Serve as the main contact for daily operations with 3PL providers and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth workflow execution.
- Oversee the receipt and storage of raw materials, WIP and finished goods.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to ensure accuracy.
- Monitor warehouse capacity requirements and provide recommendations to the Supply Chain Manager on necessary capacity changes to ensure alignment with short-term and long-term business needs.
- Manage rework processes, order completion activities, and specialized operational requests with 3PL providers
- Provide guidance on optimizing logistics processes and enhancing operational efficiency in collaboration with 3PL partners.
- Support monthly reporting on key operational metrics
Transportation and Logistics
- Manage the movement of goods from manufacturing sites to warehouses and customers.
- SAP processing inbound and outbound shipments and proactively resolve issues.
- Monitor transportation costs and implement cost-saving measures.
- Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and safety standards.
- Provide recommendations to the Supply Chain Manager regarding necessary amendments to contracts with carriers and logistics providers to ensure adaptability and continued support of business requirements
Importation/Distribution Management
- Oversee the importation/distribution network to ensure products reach customers and consumers efficiently.
- Coordinate with retailers and distributors to meet demand and optimize inventory levels.
- Monitor distribution performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement improvements.
- Monitor importation and distribution costs and transportation routes, and advise the Supply Chain Manager on opportunities to improve cost efficiency and increase logistics performance.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant importation/distribution regulations and standards.
Customs and Excise Management
- Ensure all imports/exports follow EU customs and Ukraine laws, preparing documentation like commercial invoices, import/export declarations, and certificates of origin, transactional SAP processing.
- Ensure tax stamps are procured, applied, and recorded accurately to comply with EU and national laws.
- Conduct internal audits, ensure readiness for customs audits, and maintain compliance documentation for excise and tax stamps.
- Coordinate with bonded warehouses, track excisable goods, and manage inventory under duty suspension until final market release.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate effectively with the Global Logistics team to align on strategy and best practices.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local logistics providers.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations.
- Cooperation with the US Supply Planner for 3PL replenishment
What You Bring to the Table
- Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Good knowledge of logistics, warehousing operations, planning, customs, tax stamps, and excise tax requirements for the spirits industry.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in logistics

Experience in successful related work within a changing environment

Demonstrated ability to make decisions independently based on logical assumptions and factual information
Preferred Experience:

Prior Experience in wine and spirits or FMCG industries

Experience working with a supply chain system, ideally SAP

Language Proficiency: fluent in ENGLISH , both spoken and written
