Your job

As Head of Crop, you develop and implement the global crop and assortment strategy for Leafy Crops. By analyzing customer insights, market developments, competitive landscapes and genetic performance, you create a clear strategic direction that supports Bejo's long-term ambitions.

You functionally lead and inspire an international team of Regional Crop Managers. Through strong collaboration and stakeholder management, you connect research, breeding, production, marCom, sales and regional organizations around the world. You know how to build commitment, influence decision-making and align diverse perspectives across cultures and regions. You work closely with your fellow Head of Crops and the Organic Crop manager. You are member of the Global Crop Management MT.

You continuously monitor market trends and industry developments, translating opportunities into actionable plans. By prioritizing investments, allocating resources effectively and tracking progress, you ensure successful execution of strategic objectives. At the same time, you create an environment in which people are empowered to grow, collaborate and perform at their best.

For the role of Head of Crop, you will receive, among other things:

• A gross monthly salary between € 7.550,00 and € 11.850,00 for full-time employment, supplemented by profit sharing and 8.33% holiday allowance.

About you

To be successful in this role, you combine strategic thinking with strong leadership and stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable operating in an international environment and know how to translate market developments into successful crop strategies.

• You hold a Master's degree or demonstrate an equivalent level of working and thinking, preferably within Agribusiness, Plant Sciences or a related field.
• You have extensive experience in Crop Management, Product Management, Marketing or Commercial roles, with strong preference in the vegetable seed industry.
• You have strong knowledge of the global vegetable seed market. Knowledge about Leafy crops is an advantage.
• You have proven leadership experience and are able to influence and connect people without direct hierarchical authority.
• You possess excellent communication skills and are fluent in English.
