About the job
We’re looking for an ambitious and curious Analyst with 1–3 years of experience to join our Copenhagen HQ. You’ll be passionate about transforming data into insights and developing high-value analytical solutions that support Flatpay’s continued growth.
As part of our growing Analytics team, you’ll work in a dynamic and collaborative environment where data is central to decision-making. Collaboration, friendliness, and a relaxed atmosphere are important parts of how we work.
In this role, you’ll develop commercial reporting and analysis across different areas of the business. This will include both high-level reporting for senior management and operational reporting that helps teams make better day-to-day decisions.
You’ll become the analytical domain expert for selected areas of the business. This means building a deep understanding of their processes, performance drivers, and data, and taking responsibility for ensuring that stakeholders have the insights they need.
What you’ll do
As an Analyst at Flatpay, you’ll work across a wide range of analytical and reporting tasks using diverse datasets. Your role will focus on strengthening how we track, understand, and act on commercial and operational performance.
You’ll work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and translate business questions into clear analysis, reporting, and recommendations. You’ll also review and improve our existing data models and reports to ensure they meet business needs and follow modern analytical practices.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Understanding and exploring business needs related to data, analysis, and reporting
- Building and maintaining commercial reports and KPI frameworks
- Developing high-level reporting and analysis for senior management
- Creating operational reports and dashboards that support day-to-day decision-making
- Becoming the analytical domain expert for selected areas of the business
- Developing a strong understanding of the processes, KPIs, and performance drivers within your domains
- Identifying trends, inefficiencies, risks, and commercial opportunities
- Turning complex data into clear insights and actionable recommendations
- Developing and maintaining reports and dashboards, primarily in Power BI
- Ensuring data quality and accuracy through testing and validation
- Optimising existing reports and analyses based on business needs and user feedback
- Testing and implementing new AI solutions in dashboard development, analytical workflows, or standalone AI applications.
Who you are
To succeed in this role, you should be comfortable working with data and have practical experience with Power BI and SQL. You’re naturally curious, eager to understand how a business works, and motivated by turning data into decisions and measurable commercial impact.
You’re independent, results-driven, and adaptable, and you perform well in a fast-paced and agile environment. You enjoy working closely with stakeholders, challenging existing ways of working, and communicating analytical findings clearly to both operational teams and senior management.
Your skills and experience
- 1–3 years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or a similar role
- Experience developing reports and visualisations in Power BI
- Strong SQL skills and experience working with large datasets
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- The ability to explain commercial and analytical concepts clearly and simply
- A degree in economics, business, computer science, data analytics, or a related field
- A strong business mindset and focus on commercial results
Nice to have
