Global Demand Planning Forecast Analyst
We are looking for a Global Demand Planning Forecast Analyst to join our Demand Planning organization based in Sant Joan Despí, Spain .
As part of our global planning community, you will play an important role in driving forecasting excellence by monitoring forecast performance, analyzing demand trends, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. You will work closely with Demand Planners and key business stakeholders to improve forecast accuracy, strengthen planning capabilities, and support data-driven decision-making across the organization.
About the Role
Reporting to the Global Forecast Analyst Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring forecast performance, validating forecast outputs, and providing analytical insights that support business decisions. You will help identify opportunities to improve forecast accuracy, support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process, and contribute to the continuous development of forecasting capabilities across markets and regions.
What You Will Do
- Forecast Performance Management: Monitor business and regional forecast performance, track forecast accuracy metrics, identify trends, and recommend actions to improve forecasting effectiveness
- Forecast Review & Root Cause Analysis: Review forecasts by exception, investigate forecast deviations, identify root causes of inaccuracies, and support the implementation of corrective actions
- Statistical Forecasting Support: Validate statistical forecasting outputs and monitor the impact of business inputs within the forecasting process to ensure reliable planning outcomes
- Data Analytics & Insights: Support decision-making through analysis, performance metrics, and reporting, transforming complex data into actionable business insights
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Coaching: Lead coaching sessions and support Business Demand Planners on activity prioritization, forecasting best practices, and capability development
- Continuous Improvement & S&OP Support: Drive continuous improvement initiatives, assess the impact of process enhancements, and support Business Unit Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) Demand Review meetings
Who You Are
- University degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or a related field
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in Demand Forecasting, Demand Planning, Supply Chain Planning or a related analytical role, with knowledge of statistical forecasting techniques and forecasting processes
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly Excel, as well as strong capabilities in Power BI for data modeling, analysis, visualization, and dashboard development
- Experience with planning solutions such as SAP APO and/or SAP IBP will be considered a strong plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into insights and support data-driven decision-making
- Good understanding of end-to-end Supply Chain processes is considered an advantage
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships across functions and organizational levels
- Continuous improvement mindset combined with a collaborative attitude, flexibility, curiosity, and a willingness to learn and grow in an international environment
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken

This role is based in Sant Joan Despí, Spain, and is part of Essity's Global Demand Planning organization.
This position will report directly to the Global Forecast Analyst Manager.
You will work in an international environment, collaborating with colleagues across multiple regions and functions to strengthen forecast accuracy, improve planning performance, and support business growth through data-driven insights and continuous improvement.
